I love this! In the grade 8 algebra course at my school this year I am hoping to make the kids see all of the mathematics in the world around them. hmmm, maybe not all but lots and lots. Your little ditty is a great introduction. About half way through the course I am hoping to start a blog or wiki where kids can discuss the mathematics they have encountered around them when they aren’t in the mathematics classroom. Maybe we could make our own songs too. Thanks for the inspiration and perfect start to the task.
